the year comes to an end and things settle down

wel lanother year almost gone just a few days of work left to a one week holiday and new year

live has been very busy and many things happend id rather forgett about but at least work is getting better a transfer wil lmake work easier and maybe evne bring a payment rise again after i got a cut some month ago

or those i havent talked to for a while im sorry i was just vey occupied and had to settle some personal affairs to get myself together

to everon who is willing to read this and who think they stil lare my freinds

i wish you all a merrx xmas in advance and a happy new yoear to come

let us hope we wil lsee some days of peace and happynes at the end of the year

lets hope the next one wil lbe better than this one for al lof us

honesty work is killing me right now

this and last week together i had roughtly 30 hours overtime .. school and training on saturday not included

its just stress at work right now i work 11 12 hours a day go home to sleep and basicalyl go back to work

no end in sight til laugust 20th whne il lfinalyl have 3 weeks off

i ope things settle down a lil this crap gives me a sick stomach

i hope things change to balance everythign wt work

wel lat least im ahving fun talkign english casue soe guys of our canadian factory are in til august and its nice talking to them a lil keeping my english up to date

well so fr lets see how this weeknd wil lbe ... friday work from 12 to 4 then at 5 i go to school in next town for a CNC trainig in new programming for some new maschines we gona have at the factory i work till 9 pm

and saturday from 8 am to 3 pm another block of school .... fun fun

but yeah i lie im yet stil lhealtly and vacation is in sight

well id say it has been a time but i guess best way to deal wit hthings is to talk abou them

since i posted last alot had happend after my dads death i had quite a down time ..

but things got a lilbettr also just for a time i marreid but things ddint work out nd after a year she left for america again
dont want to say whos fault it is just ddint work

since then im getting more and mroe busy with work barly a chance to do anything but work

but i live its not perfect but i live .. now the 12 month are over i hope that i cna ut in the divorce soon to get things done with

im oftne quite lost not knowing hee to go and what to do but just working sleeping and a lil hobby keep me busy enough so yeah

i dont work to live i live to work great

wok is being kinda mixed alot good days but bad days too its up and down .. still i feel i got some better over all

well so many to tell im sure il ladd mroe the next days

its just good to see old freinds again you tought lost who stil lcare for you that halps alot

ok i may do some of the entrys before but there is not realyl muthc to tell .. untill yesterday

Yesterday on the 26 october my dad had a heart attack in th early morning . .we called an ambulance emediatly and he was brought to a hospital .. later transferred to one of the best clinics available for heart diseses . .but it was to late the damage couldnt be repaired

on the 28 october 10:47 pm my dad died ...

we had been in both days .. the last time about 2 hours before he died .. the docs told us better not to stay when it happens and they shut off he live support maschines .. he was in coma since they took him away with the ambulance .. he felt nothing had no pain .. so we let him go, said goodbye and left ...

i couldnt tell what was going though me in these 3 days and the time after .. maybe il lnever et over it to understand hes gone . .but my live has to go on . .someway ..

now hes goen i notice ho muth was not said how muthc i miss him but its to late .. il lmiss him very mutch but i cant get him back all i keep are rememberances of a wonderful lman and loving father i wil lnever forgett

ok last day of the week in Garmisch nothng big happend had some fun at the gate taking to some nice americans checking cars for bombs

just a little sad i cant be at the airport this morning casue my beloved GF danielle arrives this morning at 8 am in munich

well ill be some hours later but for the guard i get a whole week vacation extra think thats it worth

well some hours after some trouble with bringing me home i finally came home at 3 pm ran up to my room and found D sleeping on my bed just droped my stuff carefully walked over to her and gave her a kiss on the cheer to wake her up . .stil lbeing in full feild uniform from army with barret on my hed .. the next minutes we just kissed and hugged us so happy t be together after 7 long month

nothing big to report since this day got in the office job quite well and the new unit is just great the ppl say im doing my work ok and eve with some errors im happy how it goes .. well today soemthing special hapened

soome ouf our ppl are tansferred for a week to garmisch patenkirchen to guard a US military base there the Marshall center .. this time i was chosen

so we drove down there in the morning and arrived at around 2 pm casue the old shift was stil lthere only the officers had a short talk after that we went to town to look around pretty nice town and area

1st Juli the first day in my new unit .. (was transferred to a drivers educatots unit as an staff solger in a office)

got the the commanding officers office and reported rady for duty as i had been told he welcomed me nicly introduced me to all ppl and we had a nice talk

after that i started working in the office was shown how all stuff workes and worked myself in

ok this was an important day in my live casue i had to leave my basic education base and transfer to my new unit .. of course we had spend the last 4 days cleaning weapons and all the buildings we had used the last 3 month what a fun

well got in my gala uniform today and casue my locker was already packed away around 11 am i said goodbye in tears to my training officers and the guys i had 3 wonderfull month with had been a hard time for sure but after al leveryone of us was pround

could tell some stuff about the celebrations and BBQ we had the evening before but thats a military secret aswell i was to drunk to remember mutch anymore :D

well went to the train with around 100 kilos of bags including all my military stuff 3 bif bags to carry around

was almost to muthc for me but we did it someway so i got into the train and started my long way down to bavaria in my new unit

i had some different expiriances driving train in my uniform .. some ppl were nce .. an veteran who was a high ranking officcer of the air force in the 60s eve saluted for me aswel lsome idiots who yelled at us casue of our havy stuff we carried around or waht stupid idiots we are to serve the country ...

well late evening i arrived at the new base .. all ppl already out so i just found a sub officer who showed me my room where i went to bed soon i was TKO after that day

today was a big day my "graduaion" a big celebration where the parents and Freinds were invited to see how we did the swear our flag envy to protect our country as soldiers

my dad and a close freind of mine who is a high ranking navy captain came to the base it was a great day especialyl casue my freinds navy rank topped all but one in my base :D

cant tell how prud i was when we marched in as a company of 120 men and i was in the first row so anyone could see me when the formation stood there all the hour. i did like the rest my job bravly and noone of us collapsed also some were worried i could

after that we had free again so m and my dad drove together with my freind down to my house in bavaria

funny thing on the ride .. casue one autobahn was closed at night we had to drive around that place .. got aus a lil lost then around 1 am my dad asked my freind "u have a map in the car?" my friend " no im in the navy mr Welte im driving after the oplar star.." well 30 mins later both me and my freind got hungry so we got an exit and went to a Mc donalds near the autobahn we were on to gram some food
my dad is still joking about the Polar star is a big golden M !

ok new week new fun wiht the end of my basic education closing in things were becoming interesting we made marching exercises for our graduatione and other stuff to repeat what we had learned the last weeks

saturday wakign at 6 then some battalion staff where the whole base hat to stand in aenshun in front of our batalion CO . .after that soem cleaning of our guns and stuff .. after that finally end of duty at 12 am after oen week of duty .. headed to the trainstation in town and took the first train home for how it should be a 7 hour ride ..

well soem things didnt work aain after 11 i was at home finally first thign i did i called my beloved danielle god ow hapyp i was o hear her voice

friday .. after coming back from the shit guard duty we cam to the handgranade throwing

live fire granades .. was allowed to throw 2 and it was a hel lof fun .. after that hop hop to the bus and a 9 hour drive home without any big trouble .. came to our home base at 11 pm and went to bed short later

ok thursday

plan was a training parcour like known from the navy seals movies .. u know that stuff with walls and sutch .. in full combat gear well before we could go on the track the commander told .. ok one of the ppl of guard is sick we need an replacement well i was chosen for thought it would be a easy job running around in the base .. well my dream soon poofed .....

we were driven avout 30 miles outside the base to the other end of the training ground where we had to guard an ammo truck

let me tel lit short .. the building we slept in was from the early 50`s the bad had no more than blank metal to sleep on and almost anythingwhat could went wrong .. expect the ammo truck blew up

after a short night with under 2 hours sleep we were driven back 3 hours to late and i missed almost the live fire handgranade practise on friday morning

thursday

well some good and soem bad rememberances of that day in backward thinking

wel llets begin comany shooting exercise was the thing of day first on day then after some hours break the same training at night gain a full squad with 30 ppl was running one training al llive fire shooting

well seems to be a great thing .. only bad news .. it was the hottest day of theweek and my maschine gun didnt had a lether band to carry it ...

made it all 1000 yards to the first fiyering position then after a break and cover fire made it the 250 yards to the house we had to ake and then half of the way back to the reorginasation point .. then i just blacked out and woke up a sec later stripped of my gear with somene emptying my field bottle of wather over my head ...

ok the medic had a look at me volume missing shock .. just had to les wather in me also i had already downed 4 literes that day ..

well a break and i was fien for the night fiering .. second try with the MG this tiem with a handhold and it worked .. got to the fiering range looked for a nice position behind some sandsacks and then i gave fire . .woha realyl hard to control the baby on a long burst of fire but i got the hang of it and nailed what i could
then back to the group place al ljust great soem mins later we heard we nailed 90% of al ltargets absolout top score for our squad during night fire exercise dam mwere we proud

after soem cleanup we were back atthe base at 12pm and went to bed ..were woken up at 1:30 casue a key for the comanders room was missing .. didnt find him but the night was ruined if i had known what was coming up the next day id have better stayed in bed

wendsday trip to berlin

what a interesting thing first we drove 2 hours to berlin then we visited the air force museum in gato VERY interesting especially casus "mr aircraft identificator" is my second name :P

we started at the first plane and someone pointed at a droptank and told .. "hey thats a atomic bomb surly see how big it is .."

"no its a fuel drop tank i corrected him .. and so the fun started first i guided only 10 of the recruits around .. that changed dramatically when i enterd the museums building ... then after the 3rd plane i had half of the companys officers behind me including our copmpany officer an hauptmann :D

after gato we drove to berlin had a 2 hour sighseeing and then 3 hours for free use .. went to a bar with soem freinds and had a glass of votka then back to the bus and the base

ok today was the big day after training on sunday we shuld now do the live fire training on the group exercise ground that menas a group of 10 ppl acts as a team to reach the mission goal of that shooting range in that case to ptotect a buildign agaisnt an ennemy attack and then to pull back into save buildings after our posision is declared as overrunn .. made a top score and i "stole" my Maschine gunern msot of the targets that popped up *smiles* all just fine we were honored for a realyl awsome run for recruits

ok first night in base today . group shooting eyxecise and some nato stuff u can use if u ever come to cosovo or iraqui .. very interesting but a lot of marchign between the exercise grounds i was pretty powerd out after that day but it was quite interesting

sunday morning .. time to get our dends down and all stuff packed .. we did that pretty fast also most were dam mtiered then we moved to the close base where we could move in real rooms with beds for the rest of week untill we had to drive back on friday

how good it feld to come home to the base after a 10 mile march and soem very intensive shooting exercises

we mostly just fell in our beds and slept so death we al lwere anyoen was happy the day was over

ok saturday wake up at 5 .. then we went to the shooting range for some group fiering practise .. did the course faster than it should be casue we hadno live fire ammo just to see how the training range worked

al lin all just fien my group did a quite well pass through

some other things after that so we mostly walked miles between the different training grounds and then finally had soem time to rest in the late evening luckily i had only one guard duty and when i lay down i coud sleep 5 hours omplete how mutch that helped me to get fit again !

friday . .waking at 5 packing the last gear and at 8 we were already on the road to berlin .. should be a 8 to 9 hour drive bybus .. luckily we got a civilian whitch was VERY comfy .. soem others had bad luck and took the old army busses ...

but well nothing happens as planned .. the drive up took us 11,5 hours so we arrived short to 10 pm

after we had the company together again we were getting ready for "field camping" "biwak" how its named in germany .. setting up a place to live till sunday to sleep and to start patrols from .. so we got to our place and set the camp up went quite fine no problems just the night was a lil short with under 2 hours sleep casue i had patrol and firewatch .. but well didnt have muchtime on the next dayto think about i had not muthc sleep casue the upcoming training on saturday kept us busy

thursday we had some final training then we packed all gear we had to take with us on the trucks whitch drove up to berlin where the troop exercise place is a dayearlier to get al lset up

nothing big byside just getting all packed and cleaned after that early end of duty and time to head for bed after a call at my loves house
